Hardware Compatible with the Warehouse Manager Product Ranges
Datalinx have been involved in implementing handheld computers, barcode scanners and label printers for over twenty five years. Over that time we have gained a great deal of experience of what works, what doesn't, which types of units work best in which environments and with which kind of people. This experience has enabled us to select the best tools for the job and the following devices have been rigorously tested and proven as compatible with the Datalinx Warehouse Manager systems.
Please note within a specific device there may be many sub-models which work with different networks, bandwidth and environments not all of which will be appropriate to use.
The Datalinx DML client is designed to run under the Android operating system, and Datalinx have tested the client from Android version ‘Kitkat’ to V11. Android V10 and V11 has been tested across all Zebra Technologies TC and MC devices (excluding RFID devices). Earlier versions of Android have been tested and approved on specific devices. Tablet devices running Android 10 and 11, such as the Samsung TAB A7 will run the DML client but it should be noted that to be able to utilise some of the advanced barcode handling that Datalinx applications provide, specific Bluetooth or USB connected scanners are required.
As part of Datalinx’s on-going product development it is expected that the Datalinx DML Client will be tested and approved against future versions of Android as they become available.

Barcode Labels: There are a variety of label stock available for use with Zebra printers to withstand the riguors of normal warehouse use. Datalinx barcode printing software, which is embedded in all of our Sage barcode systems, works seamlessly with the relevant models.
