Datalinx are pleased to advise the release of Warehouse Manager X3 version 3.5.0a which includes the following functional enhancements as well as various fixes and speed improvements.
New Features and Enhancements
Transfers
Location transfers; now with the ability to move detailed allocated stock.
Whole Batch Transfers; Location Transfer variant without the ability to split items. It is now possible to move complete pallets/ boxes without having to manually enter the quantity, providing increased time efficiencies.
Stock Split
Location Transfer variant for splitting items.
Stock Split to Container; allows adding of stock to existing containers. Beneficial for clients splitting pallets as well as containers. This could also be used when managing replenishments or splitting allocated/unallocated stock.
These also now have the ability to print either 1 label (the “new” batch created) or 2 labels, (the “new” batch created and the existing label reprinted with a revised quantity on it). These are controlled by a menu parameter.
Serial Number Functionality
More efficient handling of serial numbers has been added to relevant transactions.
Users and Licensing
A license is only consumed when a client is logged on.
Users cannot be logged on concurrently.
‘User Activation Killer’ displays the number of user licenses and the system expiry date.
PO Receipts
These can be validated against pre-configured Sage X3 tolerance rules and WHM X3 will raise appropriate warning or error messages when product is receipted.
Receipts
WHM X3 expiry date functionality now allows use of all Sage X3 expiry date types.
Sales Order Picking
Deliverable flag can be set at either completion of pick or pack.
Shortages
As part of the sales order picking or packing functionality, orders can be part picked and despatched with the remaining items left for review to allow for picking at a later date.
Toolbox - New Functions
Installation Tester: runs a set of system tests against the installation and reports any potential issues with remedial information (if required). Typically run against new installs and upgrades.
Web Service Tester: used to test individual web services as part of support diagnostics.
Translations Installer: this will update the Warehouse Manager X3 system with any new translations that have been made available by Datalinx. This will not overwrite any existing translations currently residing on the end users WHM X3 system. The languages included by default are BRI and ENG.
DML Clients - Hand Held Display/Desktop
‘Please Wait’ pop-ups added to all transactions, as an indication to the user that a transaction is being posted.
